For all purposes, this is a fairly mediocre recording of mindless innovating self engorging poetry. Therefor in summary, a fantastic excercise in the Gel school of Sol dynasty..
A long-time composer with multiple international releases and tours under his belt since 1998, Gel-Sol has been known for creating vast soundscapes, wild improvisations and intensely deep compositions. He uses a brazen approach to sampling- “plunderphonics” and a philosophical take on genre- “Paracosmic” (parascosm being a
fictional universe and his art existing in his own paracosm).
what an amazing tapestry of sonic storytelling in this incredible album. My favorite track is a story in and of itself and the use of field recordings all throughout this album makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the narratives presented here. very well done and highly recommended. 10/10. Excellent home listening type ambient with minimal post classical leanings. Fans of Erased Tapes artists and the likes of Pieter Nooten have lots to love about the piano driven instrumentals Mood Exhibit
